Seeded · 1–100 records · 38 countries · CSV and JSON

Synthetic Test Data Generator

Build a fixture you can reproduce. Choose a country, a record count, a seed, and the fields you need. The same inputs always produce the same records, so a failing test can be replayed by anyone on the team.

Fields

Same country, seed, count, and fields produce byte-identical output.

More address tools

Reproducible by design

No Math.random and no Date.now anywhere in the generator. A seed is the whole contract.

Safe address and email values

Addresses come from the country fixtures and every email uses the reserved .test domain, so nothing can be delivered or mistaken for a real person.

Export what the test needs

Choose fields per record and download CSV or JSON. The CSV quotes commas and escapes embedded quotes.

Synthetic Test Data Generator questions

What does the seed actually control?+
It seeds a small deterministic random generator used for names, birthdays, the address choice, and the UUID. Same seed plus same settings equals identical output, which is what makes a regression fixture usable.
Why are emails always example.test?+
example.test is reserved by RFC 2606 and can never be delivered. Using it means a generated fixture can never send mail to a real person, even by accident.
Why do only some countries get a phone number?+
Only the US and Canada share the NANP range where 555-0100 to 555-0199 is reserved for fiction. Other countries have no equivalent guaranteed-safe range, so the field stays blank rather than inventing a number that might belong to someone.
Is the UUID a real UUID?+
It has the correct version and variant bits, but the randomness comes from the seed, not from a cryptographic source. Use it as a fixture identifier, never as a production key.
Can I generate more than 100 records?+
Not on this page. Larger datasets belong in a script: the same generator is a library function, and keeping the browser output small avoids freezing the tab.
