Your current address

Your browser can share a precise location with this page. We reverse-geocode the coordinates to a readable address and show it below. We do not save the coordinates.

Location access is optional. Coordinates are sent to a reverse-geocoding service only to produce the address shown on this page. We do not store them, and we do not build a location history.

This is a postal address, not an IP address

An IP address identifies a network connection. A postal address identifies a place where mail can be delivered. This tool uses your device location to find the postal address around you; it does not look up or expose your IP address.

Why the result can be approximate

GPS is usually accurate to a few metres outdoors, but it can be off by tens of metres in cities, indoors, or on a laptop using Wi-Fi positioning. The geocoder returns the nearest known address, which may be a street or neighbourhood rather than your building. Use the coordinates and map to confirm.

Prefer not to share your location?

You can skip the permission prompt. Use the random address generator for test data, or the country format guide to check how an address should be written. The Find tool only runs after you press the button and allow access.

How it works

  1. 1Press “Find my address” and allow location access in the browser prompt.
  2. 2The page sends the coordinates to a reverse-geocoding service and displays the best match.
  3. 3If the result is not precise enough, use the coordinates and the map to confirm your position.

FAQ

Why is the address not exact?
GPS accuracy varies by device and surroundings. The reverse geocoder returns the nearest known address, which may be a street or neighbourhood rather than your building.
Can I find an address without sharing my location?
Yes. Use the random address generator or the country format guide. The Find tool only works when you grant location permission.
